Hi Thom,
Seems like yesterday that you and Tom & Rusty were playing sports nights @ Chatsworth High and bottlenecking the crowd @ the Challangers show with your blazing 'Misirlou.' When I heard your voice coming out of my computer, tears of joy for sure. You are a one of the most beautiful cats I have ever know. Thanks for making the world a better place.

Hi Tom, just wanted to introduce myself. My Dad and his sister grew up in Central City, Ky together. They were second cousins. Their mom was Mossie Smith (Sullivan)She was Merle's cousin, my Dad was Lindel Smith and his sister was Mabel Smith. My Dad could play two people on the guitar like you and Merle. Hope to get to see you perform one day. I never got to see your dad or mine play,so i enjoy your videos. Bye.

Many years ago, on the streets of Central City, Muhlenberg County Kentucky, you performed a "sidewalk concert" for a handfull of people.. I was lucky enough to be one of those people. I'll never forget it.

Loved your videos with Nokie and others at the house in Scottsdale. There are a few of us pickers here in town, so come on back to Arizona when you can, perhaps we can hook up one of these times and do some fun picking.

Love your playing...After 40 years or so of running from my roots, I finally started to learn finger picking style, and ran right into you. Did Merle actually teach you or did you just somehow get it innately...Anyway, keep it up...love it..how do you get that thumb to stretch across three frets..it's killing me..What string set do you use...

Well Bresh, I have been in the business for over 50 years, and you have been the best kept secret to me of all time... I came across you via the "net" on my space.com,and have spent the better part of three days now learning about you and who you are...present and past, what did I find?.... a true musician, an entertainer, comedian, seemingly with a heart of gold..you have made me smile, laugh, and be intimidated by your style and allowed me too fall in love with the "Travis" sound all over again, thank you Breshman..I am a huge, and probably, your newest fan...

Hey Thom! Saw you at CAAS this year...You have become a far greater player than ol' Merle and thats not slighting him at all. Played for him in a cabin down by twin bridges a long time ago.. Had no idea who he was at the time!! My wife at that time was his nurse... She wouldn't tell me who he was at that time, its funny how much I discussed himself to him. The joke was on me. I didn't go back cause he was so frail I was afraid I might cause him further problems...He said I would have been a pretty good player if I'd stuck with it... I think I was better off being a pipefitter cause I didn't really have it as a player. Boy when I see you and the players of today that is verified. I enjoy your stuff, I dont think you really understand how good you really are with your style and all, which I personally prefer to almost everybody else. Aw shit. See you between fishin' trips. L

Hey Thom,

I have a very straight forward question for you. Have you given you life to Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior? If not, what better time than here at Easter, when we celebrate His ressurection? God loves you Thom. He sent His only Son Jesus to earth to pay the price for your sins. He paid a terrible penalty for you Thom. He want's you to spend eternity with Him in Heaven, but you have to accept the free gift he's offering you. Free to you yes, but it cost Him everything. You know in your heart you've sinned against God and that your sin separates you from God. Don't put it off Thom. No one is guaranteed tomorrow. The bible says now is the accepted day of salvation.

In Christ,
David
